To fear God is not being afraid of him.

It has the idea of awe, a right view, a true love, to worship, to live for. To keep his commandments all summed up in a nutshell, to love God with all I have - my heart and mind and soul, with my time and talent and treasure, and to love my neighbor as myself. These are evident as we put them to shoe leather.

March was very busy and productive too. Much work has been done on two of the church projects. At Victory Baptist in Perry, FL we ordered the drywall and had it delivered. We traveled down and moved the drywall inside after Lowes put it in front of the building in the dirt. The kids and I got a good workout. We have a church nearby that will help us hang the drywall at that time. At Victory Springs Ind Baptist, the drywall finishing is all done and has been textured. We ordered and picked up the paint and the primer coat has been applied on the whole building. Church members are doing their part in the work and have two more coats of paint to go. The sidewalks are all in and the outside AC units are in place. In a huge answer to prayer, the church did get approved for a Lasko Foundation grant that will help in a major way toward paying down the construction loan. After paint, the ceilings will go in and then all the fixtures. It’s moving along nicely. Vision Baptist in Crestview, FL has moved in their new building and has had services for a few weeks. We were able to travel and be in their dedication service. Many have been saved in the recent months, and three were baptized and added to the church on dedication day. The church was packed and had a full parking lot already. We are so encouraged by the members’ work on the building and the love for their community.

We were in town for a park outreach a couple weeks ago and helped with the door to door canvassing and serving and watching the little kids. Our bus ministry leader preached and five were saved at the invitation. The gospel is going forth and people are still being saved. Sonya and Bethany served at Venture of Faith camp ladies conference. Bethany is enrolled in her last semester of a 3-year bible institute. She should finish up and get her certificate right before heading off to work at camp for the summer. Jon got to lead the singing and preach his second message at youth night service. He did a great job and is really growing in his walk with the Lord and learning to put messages together.

We continue to work on relief efforts from this past hurricane season. We were donated a bunch of supplies for Jamaica and are in contact with missionaries and shippers working out all the details. Hopefully we can get things on their way quickly and start preparing for this upcoming season. We have been so busy with other things we still have not poured the concrete for the warehouse but plan on that in the next few weeks. The training center continues to move forward. We have added more instructors and will have a second location in the weeks ahead. Between us and a church in Georgia and now another in Mississippi the training is really beginning to spread to other ministries. We are also preparing training for camps this summer with Who Will Go and Beyond Borders. These camps are for young people looking at ministry areas of service. No volleyball or putt putt golf, just all practical life skills and training in a controlled real missionary environment with veteran missionaries. If you have young people, get them to these camps, they will be life changing. whowillgo.org

Thank you all for the love and prayers and support. We are grateful to those who stick with us and make it so we can do the work God has for us whatever it may be. We can go because you pray and give.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
Training Center International

Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr
Fort White, Fl 32038

Email: Mccoysincostarica@yahoo.com
Kevin 850 777-0097 Sonya 850 698-1694

Type your new text here.

We serve a risen Savior and Easter is a wonderful time to be reminded of just how much He loves us. We anticipate a full church for our Resurrection Sunday service, and hope that your church is full as well. Thank you all for faithfully praying for our family and ministry. God is good!

March came and went with constant activity. We are thankful for God’s grace and work in and through us. We kicked off the month with the MMO surgical team. The team performed both general and orthopedic surgeries. As we ministered together with them, we were able to share the Gospel with about 50 people (patients and family members). As often happens with these teams, some of the patients do not live in our city but within an hour or so. This team was no exception, and we have been working to try and connect many of these people with good local churches for continued spiritual follow-up. We are always thankful for the Lord bringing them to us and opening the door for us to plant the seeds of the Gospel. The next surgical team is already rapidly approaching. They will arrival on April 12th and will do both gynecological and general surgeries. Please join us in praying for God’s blessing as we minister together.

Also coming up in April, we as a church will be having our annual Missions Conference. This year we will have a special emphasis on restricted access nations partially because we have a Honduran couple who just started deputation. This couple is preparing to ministry in a northern African restricted access nation. As Hondurans, there are some unique open doors that Americans don’t have which will help this couple eventually gain residency in this county and minister where there is little gospel witness. We are excited to partner with them and see God’s heart for all people.

Finally, at the end of April, we will be taking a quick trip to the States where we will visit family and will be giving a report in a couple of supporting churches. Please pray for safety as we travel and that we would be a blessing as we are visiting churches.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please be praying for the upcoming surgical team as we minister together. Praying for successful surgeries and receptive hearts to the Gospel.

Please pray for our mission’s conference, that God would increase our faith and ability to support more missionaries.

Please continue to pray for God’s blessing on Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult back in Florida.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes.

From Honduras,
Nate and Cori with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake and Savanna

He can love us and be in favor of us and give us all of the necessary things we have need of to accomplish his work his way. I might not be the expert in every field or the first pick for some team effort, but I can be obedient to the Word of God and be ready and available when doors of opportunity present themselves in His service. There is much gospel work yet to be done.

It’s hard to believe two months have come and gone already in 2026. We have been super busy and are getting to be part of much being done in the kingdom work. Vision Baptist in Crestview, FL got all of their final inspections done and have moved in and are holding services. They will have a dedication service in a couple of weeks, and we plan to be there for that. That’s one more gospel lighthouse in a growing community. At Victory Springs Independent Baptist in High Springs, FL a lot of progress has been made. All the drywall has been hung and the first coat of mud applied. Three missionary builders with New Testament Church Planters spent two weeks helping us get to this point. We are so thankful for all their help. With that we have the area around the baptistry coming together and the HVAC air handlers have been installed, the sprinkler piping is going in, and we made the tie into the city fire main. At Victory Baptist parsonage in Perry, FL all of the sub-contractors got their rough in inspections done and the spray foam insulation has been installed. Drywall is scheduled for delivery later today. With all this there are many moving parts and men. A lot of witness opportunities working alongside the sub-contractors and the different city employees.

At Woodland Heights Baptist in Dublin, GA, we held some CPR/first aid training awhile back certifying many of their members and making two of them instructors. Under our training center umbrella now they have launched the training in their area and for the churches in their circle. They will make the training available to the community and use it as a tool to bring people in to the hear the gospel–out of the box thinking. We have been talking to the staff of Who Will Go for a while now about training opportunities and all involved have decided to bring us to their camps this summer to teach a multitude of classes for the campers. We will also be helping with training at the Beyond Borders camp in North AL. The young people in these camps will learn practical skills geared toward remote missions. We are so looking forward to these camps and getting to help with the training.

We celebrated our 22nd anniversary on Valentine’s Day and got to go to our churches sweetheart banquet. We met at church. We became friends at church. We fell in love at church. We got married and surrendered to serve the Lord as a couple at church. Twenty-two years and counting, still serving the Lord together and loving each other and the work God has put us in.

Thank you all for your support and partnerships over these many years. We can go and do because you pray and give, our reasonable service.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
Training Center International

Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr., Fort White, FL 32038
Email: Mccoysincostarica@yahoo.com
Kevin 850 777-0097
Sonya 850 698-1694

Type your new text here.

We hope that you are well and enjoying the blessings of God in your lives and churches. February has been a busy but good month. We started it off with a visit from Cori’s parents. It was fun to have them visit again after a couple of years of not being able to come because of Cori’s grandparent’s health. Shortly after their visit, we had the opportunity to serve with a neighboring ministry who invited me to come and preach for their Valentine’s Day couple’s activity. It was a privilege to share truths of God’s design for marriage. It was also encouraging to see how the Lord is at work in another part of Honduras.

Also, throughout the month of February, we have been busy getting ready for this year’s first surgical team that we will host at the Rearick Surgical Center. Preparation for these teams is always a multifaceted task. From applying for temporary Honduran medical licensing for the US medical team, and properly documenting controlled medications that will be transported with the team as they arrive, to prepping the facilities and making sure all of our medical equipment is ready to go and fully functional, God continues to show Himself faithful in supplying all that we need right on time. The medical providers just arrived two days ago and have already completed the pre-op consultations, confirming the schedule for the patients this week. Please be praying for this team of medical professionals as they serve and minister this week. For several of them, this is their first time serving with us and so need God’s blessing as they learn the facilities quickly. Please also be praying for us as a church, as we join this medical team and minister alongside them. Through the open door that medicine provides we desire to minster both physically and spiritually. Each member of the team allows us to communicate God’s great love, but we must depend on the Holy Spirit to work in hearts as we share the good news of forgiveness of sin. Sharing this good news truly is a wonderful privilege and awesome responsibility. Thank you again for your love and prayers.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please be praying for this first surgical team as we minister together. Praying for successful surgeries and receptive hearts to the gospel.

Please continue to pray for God’s blessing on Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult back in Florida.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes. February 16th marks 4 years since his diagnosis, and we praise God for His faithfulness in our lives.

From Honduras,
Nate and Cori with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake and Savanna

Freezing temperatures in North Florida froze our well multiple times. No water at all and then no hot water for a few days. Everything we are a part of is growing and at a faster pace than we can keep up with at times. We love it and are so thankful we can be a small part of God’s kingdom work. And then there is hearing from churches that we are not real missionaries because we are not planting churches overseas. Well then – in God’s perfect timing I got an encouraging message from a young man that is kind of an adopted son. He said, “We have been studying the book of Nehemiah in Sunday school and we are learning it was not just about building the walls, but about creating a place where God’s people could gather, and grow, and be safe. Years from now there will be people and families in the church because of the building and the faithful labor your family invested. “- more wind in our sail to go onward and forward.

We started off the year serving alongside the staff at Venture of Faith Camp in south GA. We finished demo of the last damaged metal roofing and framed a deck and set posts and beams and knee walls and rafter patterns for the next group of workers. This is the last building to be rebuilt from the hurricane and will be the camp office and store. With that Bethany has signed her contract and will be summer staff for camps and conferences.

The training center continues to grow. We added one more instructor and now have a total of five. We are continuing to pray and seek God’s direction on the opportunity to partner with a local church and add a second location in another state. The details are all coming together and God appears to be putting his team in place. We traveled to Tallahassee, FL to train Gospel Light Baptist in active shooter response. The class was a lot of fun and was so good to see one of our long time supporting churches.

The four church projects we are helping with are all making forward progress. At Victory Springs Ind Baptist we are hanging drywall with the men of the church. Some guys can carry, some can install screws, and some can clean up. It’s all needed and all help get it done. The AC guys are installing the transition ductwork and prepping to install the 4 air handlers. We had the flow test on the City fire main and have approval to tie in verses installing a pressurized ground tank. This is a huge answer to prayer. Vision Baptist is working on interior finishes and installing plumbing and electrical fixtures. They had their parking and paving done and are real close to being all done. They have scheduled their dedication service and we are planning to be there for that. Grace Bible Baptist got their revised drawings approved and picked up for the sewer changes. This has allowed them to get back in motion and missionary builders are scheduled to arrive in the next couple of weeks to start finishing up where they can. We still have to get the exterior doors and frames installed soon. At Victory Baptist Perry, FL the interior framing is almost done. Electricians and AC guys are installing the rough in wiring and ductwork. The plumbers will do their rough ins this week, too; next thing will be to get everything inspected and spray the foam insulation.

Allot going on. Allot of moving parts. Allot of workers needing to hear the gospel. We can go. We can work and tell. We need prayers constantly for safety in traveling and things on the projects to get done correctly and in a way that honors God. That we walk in the spirit as issues come up and have to be worked through. Thank you each and every one for your care of our family and entrusting us with the gospel and being the hands and feet of Jesus as we go about.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
Training Center International

Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr, Fort White, Fl 32038
Email: Mccoysincostarica@yahoo.com
Kevin 850 777-0097
Sonya 850 698-1694

Type your new text here.

God is good, and we are thankful for the privilege to be partnered with you all for the sake of His kingdom. January has been unusually wet and rainy here, so we have only been able to have one of our Saturday morning Bible clubs in the neighborhood park behind our church. We look forward to ministering to these 20-30 children with more frequency as we get more consistently clear weather.

In spite of all of the rain this month, God did bless us with a few dry days for our first ever church teen camp. Grant and Blake are both in the teen group and were excited about camp and I went as one of the speaker/counselors. Almost 40 young people attended, and we used the facilities of a Baptist camp that is located about 3 hours from us. It was a good 3 days ministering to this generation of young people. For each of the 5 teaching times they all listened well and I have heard several testimonies of how the camp spiritually impacted specific hearts. Please pray for God to continue to work in hearts and for spiritual growth in this specific segment of our church family.

Coming up in February, we are actively preparing for our first MMO surgical team of 2026. The team will arrive on February 27th and will consist of two surgeons (a general surgeon and an orthopedic surgeon) and the supporting medical staff. They will partner together with our Honduran church volunteers to serve the patients both physically and spiritually. Beginning this week (Feb 3 and 4) we will have patients come to the church property for the first time as we meet them and start patient files which will be uploaded to the cloud so the surgeons can preview the cases from the States. Two more times during the month, the patients will come in for follow-up exams and consults with a nurse practitioner in pre-surgical screening. With each of these encounters we hope to serve them with the love of Christ, preparing them for a gospel encounter where we intentionally take time to share the gospel and ask how we can pray specifically for them. Please be praying for our preparation for the surgical week, and that God would work in their hearts to be receptive to the gospel message.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers for our family and ministry.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for spiritual growth in the teens of our church.

Please pray for the upcoming surgical team at the end of the month, and for our preparation before their arrival.

Please continue to pray for God’s guidance for Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes.

From Honduras,
Nate and Cori with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake and Savanna

He has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and has undergone a PET scan. We are grateful to share that the results show the cancer is contained and has not spread, for which we give thanks to God. Odek is scheduled to undergo surgery on February 13th. We humbly ask for your continued prayers—for God’s healing hand to be upon him, for wisdom and guidance for the medical team, and for a smooth and complete recovery.

Please also pray that all goes well so that he will be strong enough to travel and fly out on February 24th, as planned. We trust in God’s timing and His perfect plan as we walk through this season together. This possibility weighs heavily on our hearts, particularly for our two youngest children, who are eagerly looking forward to returning to the mission field. The thought of postponing that return is difficult for all of us.

Yet, even in the midst of these trials, we are thankful to the Lord that the work of the ministry continues to move forward.

Our son Timothy Valbuena, son in law Ruel Villamiel and outreach missionary pastor, John Mark Yutuk, as well as mission pastors Jolan and Dominic Manglicmot, have been doing a tremendous job overseeing the jail ministry, police outreach, campus ministry, visitation, feeding programs, and other evangelistic efforts.
In our absence, Joland Manglicmot has faithfully served as Officer-in-Charge of the Children’s Home, ensuring stability and care. We have also been encouraged by the support of former government officials who believe in our innocence and are now helping us, including Former Chief Justice of the SUPREME COURT Mary Lourdes Sereno.

We rejoice in what God is doing through the AMAGOH Sports Ministry. Our son Timothy is taking the ministry to new heights, coaching in two schools and using sports to proclaim the Gospel. Recently, the team held an outreach at the district jail, where the Gospel was preached at halftime, and several Muslim inmates responded to Christ. Timothy’s AMAGOH ministry has also brought first-time visitors to church every Sunday. We give God all the glory for lives being transformed and ask for your prayers that these athletes and those reached through outreach will come to know Jesus personally and remain open to His love.

Our son-in-law Ruel, still studying at our Bible Institute, is already leading the pioneering work of San Pedro Saug Baptist Mission in Pampanga. It’s a joy to see our children serving as third-generation missionaries, wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord. We humbly ask you to pray for them as they seek to raise their own support. At present, they have not yet reached even 30% of their needed support. Please pray that God will provide faithful partners to stand with them.

Above all, please continue to pray for us as we seek to serve our Savior to the best of our ability during this season. We are deeply thankful for your prayers, love, and faithful partnership in the ministry.

With grateful hearts,
Annalisa Fulfer-Valbuena
Your Missionary To the Philippines

You may send your donation through PayPal:

CLICK PayPal

or you may send it to:

Rodrigo & Annalisa Valbuena
c/o Central Missionary Clearinghouse
P.O. They cannot do everything that needs doing in God’s kingdom work. Then there are the rest of us, the called-out believers in the Lord Jesus Christ; all of us given gifts and abilities at salvation, each differing and valuable to come alongside the others for the growing up and building up of the church and the work necessary to get it done. Together we can do the going, the winning, the training, and the sending. There is nothing greater.

We were able to travel to Indiana for a few days to visit with Sonya’s parents and siblings. It had been almost 1-1/2 years since our last visit and this one was overdue. We had a great time catching up and had a combination Thanksgiving and Christmas with them. It snowed almost the whole time there so lots of sitting around fellowshipping and watching kids out the window sledding and building snowmen. On our way home from Indiana we stopped in Hiram, Georgia to spend a few days with Who Will Go ministries and Ridge Rd Baptist and Wayside Baptist. We got to train in active shooter response, church security, and CPR/first aid/AED. One of the Who Will Go staff received his instructor certification with Training Center of North Florida - us. Now we have 4 instructors in various locations. We also got to do a ministry presentation in both churches. We look forward to working with these folks in the near future with ongoing training.

The church building projects are moving along. Victory Springs, Indiana Baptist had sheetrock and insulation delivered. We started hanging the sheetrock a couple of days ago. The fire sprinkler man is scheduled to start installing the piping and our church men are trickling in and out as they can helping with their labor. Many hands make light work. Victory Baptist in Perry, FL had the rest of the windows and doors come in and we installed them. We continue to frame the interior walls as we juggle a few other things. Vision Baptist in Crestview has made a lot of progress and is getting real close to being done. Grace Bible Baptist in Pensacola was able to raise some more funds and will get a few more things done in the coming weeks. They, too, are close to start the drywall hanging. These buildings are not the church but are a place for the church to assemble and worship and receive training and then be sent out of to go preach the gospel to every creature.

We are in close contact with the churches we helped in Jamaica. The needs are still great from the hurricane. The news and most relief organizations have moved on but we want to help all that we can ongoing. We are working to obtain a shipping container to fill with needed supplies then send it right away and possibly go again in person to help with the process of dividing and distributing. We will be asking those that are able to help with the different needs as they are known. We thank God for allowing us to serve him in many capacities and zip codes.

We thank you all for your prayers and love and support going on 27 years of total service and 8 years full time all in. I am pretty sure that I have been saying this for several years (I think that makes me “old?”), but I can’t believe how fast we flew through 2025. We enjoyed a fun Christmas, and are very thankful that Mykenzie was able to visit for 6 days. She is doing very well in Florida and continuing to mature into a beautiful young woman.

As we jump into 2026, I am reminded of the continuing opportunities and the privilege of serving with Team Honduras. We are excited to be getting back to weekend Bible clubs after our normal break for the rainy season. We are also excited about ministry opportunities through the church as well as through our partner ministries of Medical Missions Outreach and Hope Children’s Home. And we anticipate that God will continue to be our strength and guide. Every year Pastor Matt Goins selects a theme for the church and this year’s theme is: Christ, our Rock. Our prayer is that through Christ as our firm foundation, we will grow both numerically and spiritually in 2026. We pray the same for you all as well.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for God’s continued blessing in the ministry here and for spiritual growth personally and within our church and ministry.

Please continue to pray for God’s guidance for Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers and financial support.

From Honduras,
Nate and Cori with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake and Savanna

Let us be some of the first to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. We trust that you had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving and being reminded of the goodness of God in your lives and ministries. This time of year is always special and full of wonderful reminders of God’s goodness. We too celebrated Thanksgiving with friends and partners in ministry. God continues to show his grace and we are humbled to serve Him.

To recap November just a little, we praise the Lord for the 25 procedures successfully completed, and for the 6 people who made professions of faith as a result of the surgical team. As a church we are now working to follow up with these patients and try and connect them to a local church in their area. Medicine is such a wonderful avenue through which to share the gospel and we are very thankful for the partnership with Medical Missions Outreach.

As we jump into December, we are looking forward to the bustle of the season. Each year we enjoy our personal Christmas traditions as well as special church activities. Something that our family has done every year we have been here in Honduras is to host a couple of the boys from Hope Children’s Home (the other partner ministry of Team Honduras). The children in the care of Hope are not orphans but rather socially at-risk children. Each one has a different story and different factors as to why they have been placed in Hope’s care. That being said, some of them are able to go spend a few days with family over Christmas but sadly others don’t have that option because of the situations that they are from. We enjoy the privilege of being surrogate family for them to “go on visiting” over Christmas. This year we are also excited because Mykenzie will be able to visit from Florida. She purchased her plane tickets just the other day and will be flying in on Christmas day.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers for our family. May the Lord bless you and your family this Christmas season as you celebrate the birth of our Savior.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Praise the Lord for the surgical team and the gospel presentations with patients and family members.

Praise the Lord for the 6 decisions for Christ!

Doing whatever it might be the servants need an extra set of hands with. It could be a building project or a need for some training in practical skills or safety/ security or lifesaving skills or coming along side after a disaster. Does not matter to us as the saying goes it all pays the same. As long as whatever we are doing is a help to further the gospel we keep signing up and are loving it.

October was full of wearing many hats and putting a lot of miles on the truck. After my Dad’s passing in August the family decided to wait a while before having his memorial. He would have been 75 October 16th so we wanted to do it around that time of his birthday. We traveled to Pensacola FL and had a small life celebration with mostly family and close friends. I had the privilege to speak on Dad’s behalf reading his obituary then sharing his salvation testimony and sharing the gospel a couple of times. Some of our family spoke with me afterwards and want to hear more about being saved in the near future. What a blessing. We plan to meet with them during Thanksgiving, Lord willing. Dad’s last wish was to have his remains spread at his childhood home on the river so the family gathered up a few boats and got that done. That was rough but our pleasure to honor Dad one more time.

We traveled to Mississippi and met with Pastor Wilson and Heritage Baptist Church. We have been messaging back and forth for almost 2 years about them wanting to start a training center there. We can’t tell them how to do that but can tell them how not to ha-ha. We had a great time discussing the pros and cons and all involved are in prayer about them becoming a second location through our training center. It seems like this has been our desire for several years and theirs also. We are all on the same page and kindred spirits but will wait on the Lord to give the go ahead before any further decisions are made. While there we helped a little with the construction of their Christmas set up on the grounds and got to share a ministry presentation with the congregation.

A couple of the church building projects made some good progress. Victory Springs Ind Baptist had the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC rough ins mostly completed and inspected. Then the spray foam insulation was installed in the ceilings and walls. The subs have a few more things to finish up then we can begin installing the sound batts and start hanging the drywall. Victory Baptist, Perry, FL had their metal building package delivered and installed. We stayed with the installers throughout the process and had several witness opportunities and I’m ashamed to say my Spanish is almost gone. Thank the Lord for tracts in other languages. I really got to get that going again. Vision Baptist, Crestview, FL has begun their site work getting retention ponds dug and parking areas graded and then the inside finishes are being lined up. Pray this one can be finished up by the end of the year.

We traveled to Dublin, GA to train the Woodland Heights Baptist church folks in CPR/first aid and AED and certified 13 church members. One member wanted to become an instructor so we were able to provide her with additional training and allow her to be part of the training center, too. While there we celebrated Bethany’s 18th birthday; can’t believe we have another adult child. Bethany has also completed the training required to become an instructor. Now she can help in a more specific role and even do classes on her own if need be.

On October 28th hurricane Melissa made landfall in New Hope Jamaica as a category 5 storm with 185 mph winds. We know two missionaries there and began to communicate with them several days prior to the impact. After the storm passed, as you have seen on the news, Jamaica was devastated in a large percent of the country. We were able to make contact with both missionaries and relay their needs and that of the ministries there and began to share that with everyone we know in the disaster relief community. Funds have been coming in and supplies have been bought and cargo planes and ships have been chartered and some men have committed to go down as a team and do what we can to help those missionaries and churches get back up and running so they can minister to their communities. Please be in prayer for the supplies to get there quick, for the team to receive them and get them to the needy, and in the process get the gospel to the lost. Water and food are only tools to get the real need of trusting Christ as Savior to the Jamaicans. One team and airplane left today and arrives tomorrow. Another team and airplane that I will be on leave tomorrow and will arrive Wednesday. Thank you each and every one for your prayers and partnerships and the way you consistently give so we can go.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon Mccoy
Training Center International
Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr
Fort White, Fl 32038

Email: Mccoysincostarica@yahoo.com
Kevin 850 777-0097
Sonya 850 698-1694

Type your new text here.

November 2025

Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you for faithfully praying for our family and ministry. We are so thankful to be partnered with each one of you for the sake of the Gospel. We are well into the fall rainy season here in Honduras and so that means some relief from the heat, but not the humidity. The more frequent rain makes some of our ministry outreach more sporadic but we have been busy none the less. In the first part of October, through the partnership with the Medical Missions Outreach’s surgical team, we were able to provide surgical procedures to 31 patients and present the gospel to each one of them. We praise the Lord for the opportunity to minister to each patient and for the 2 people who made professions of faith during the surgical week! As a church we will soon be visiting many of these patients in their homes as they continue to recuperate from surgery and we hope to continue the gospel conversations.

As I write this email there is another surgical team that is flying in for our last week of surgeries for this calendar year. Please be praying for the team as they serve here with us. Our team consists of a Podiatrist (foot surgeon) and an Orthopedist as well as support medical personnel. On the physical level, we hope to make a large impact in the daily lives of each patient. But our focus is also the spiritual need of each patient, and we hope that through both action and testimony, they will know the love of the Great Physician. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

I doubt any of us have been stoned or shipwrecked or beaten near to death multiple times. Still our own schedules and commitments and obligations can seem like tribulations and troubles and be wearisome, our own thorn in the flesh if you will. Our big is big to us but know our God is bigger than whatever it is that is weighing us down. Look to him to supply that grace to sustain you and the power to overcome and keep moving onward and forward.

Much was accomplished this month, with God’s help and many extra measures of His mercy and grace. I’m so glad his supply does not run out but is renewed every day. All four of the church construction projects made significant progress. Grace Bible Baptist got their septic system installed and has plumbers and electricians contacted to finish out the interior work. Then the spray foam insulation and drywall can be scheduled. Vision Baptist got their exterior doors installed along with drywall hanging and finishing and interior painting. Interior finishes are next and then the exterior grading and parking. They have made a lot of progress and working toward finishing soon. Victory Baptist got all the corrections to the engineering completed and the metal building kit is scheduled for delivery and installation in the next week, or so. We will work with the steel erectors and then take over from there with the interior framing to completion. Victory Springs finalized the construction loan and sub-contractors have begun work. Ductwork has been delivered and is being installed now and electricians have begun the wiring, too. We are getting all of the old prices revised and signing contracts for other work to begin at that needed time.

On our project we finished the roof on the warehouse and almost half of the funds to pour the concrete have come in. We did the final grade on our yard and planted the grass seed. We got to take part in missions emphasis month at Victory Baptist, Crestview for one Sunday. We met the new pastor and were able to give an update and teach Sunday school. While in the area we got to help Mom with a few projects around her house and see some of our family.

We had scheduled another Bahamas trip but it fell through. The brother that had planned to go still took off work and went with me all week to the different job sites and areas of service. What a blessing to have a guy willing to just do whatever needed doing. Bethany had the privilege to win a young lady to Christ after a youth church service. What a huge answer to prayer, not only to see more souls saved but our girl getting to be in on it. We finished up the month with a mission conference at our church. Go ye means go me and go you. There are so many that have not heard the gospel yet so let us all do our part. Thank you all for your prayers and partnerships. We are grateful and count it our reasonable service to play a little part in God’s kingdom work.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
Training Center International

Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr Fort White, Fl 32038
Email: Mccoysincostarica@yahoo.com
Kevin 850 777-0097
Sonya 850 698-1694

September has flown by and was very busy with traveling to the States. We are glad to be back in Honduras now, even though that means that we are one child down. It is amazing to think how quickly Mykenzie went from a baby to an 18 year old young woman. We are so proud of her and of how she is growing and maturing. We are also excited to see what the Lord will do with her life as she desires to live for Him. For right now, He has provided both family and friends from our home church to help her not feel so alone with us back in Honduras. And she is excited about new, independent living experiences; like having a car, a new job environment, and getting involved serving in the ministries of West Florida Baptist Church. Please continue to pray for her in this new stage of life, to put the Lord first and trust Him with her future.

I mentioned in our last prayer update that we are preparing for 2 more surgical teams for this fall. Thank you for joining us in prayer for a second surgeon for the October team. God has provided a general surgeon to complete the team, and we are just two weeks away from their arrival. Patients have already come in to open initial patient files and will be coming back in for health-history and physical exams prior to the team’s arrival. Pray, that as we prepare for this week of medical ministry, God would prepare our hearts to serve and that He would prepare the hearts of the patients to receive the message of salvation in Jesus Christ. Pray for the team; that God would give them wisdom as they perform surgeries, that all of the patients would make full recoveries, and that they would experience relief from the medical problems they have been battling.

Also, praise the Lord with us as God continues to work here in the life of the church. With all the busyness of the summer months, I did not have time to share how God has been working in the weekly ministries. We have have been experiencing full services every Sunday and regularly having first time visitors in church. Several new people have made professions of faith and 6 more people followed the Lord in believer’s baptism at the end of August! God is good and growing His church, to Him be the Glory! Thank you again for your faithful partnership and prayers.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for God’s guidance of Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult.

Pray for the surgical team and the gospel presentations that it will create.

Pray for the family of Dr. Sims in the wake of his sudden passing. May God’s grace be evident in their lives.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes.

From Honduras,
Nate and Cori with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake and Savanna.

We write to you today with an important and urgent update regarding our Subic Bay Children’s Home ministry. Recently, we received a cease and desist order that directly affects our ability to carry out some aspects of the work we've been faithfully doing in the Philippines.

While we are seeking legal and spiritual counsel on how to respond wisely and with integrity, we want to assure you: our faith remains unshaken.

We believe that God is not surprised by this development. The Gospel has always faced opposition, and the history of missions is filled with moments like these moments that test our resolve and deepen our dependence on Christ.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” (2 Cor 4:8-9)

We are taking this situation seriously, and with the help of the brethren and legal team, we are exploring every avenue to continue the mission in a way that honors both God and the laws of the land.

How You Can Pray:

We deeply need your prayers in this time. Would you join us in bringing these requests before the Lord?

1. Wisdom and Discernment – As we navigate how to respond in a Christ-honoring and lawful way.
2. Fairness, Favor with Authorities – That we would find understanding and open doors with those in positions of power.
3, Protection for Our Team – Spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
4. Boldness and Peace – To continue ministering with courage, even in the face of pressure.
5. Opportunities to Shine Light – That this challenge would open unexpected doors for the Gospel.
6, Funds for the legal Fees – This is an unexpected expense and not something that we have a set budget for.
7. Our family – That Sam (12th grade) and Elizabeth (7th grade) be able to accomplish their required school work; for the Lord’s provision while we are here in the US. We are currently in Greenville, SC working on scheduling meetings to personally update and share the ministries God has entrusted.

Despite the setback, we are not discouraged. The Lord is our Shepherd, and His mission never stops. All of our other ministries are continuously going on and have not been disrupted. We will keep you updated as things develop with the SBCH ministry. In the meantime, we covet your continued intercession.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer, in faith, and in love. Dad was what we might call an eleventh-hour laborer. He had been given the good news of the gospel many times but would always tell me boy I’ m okay, my good works are gonna outweigh my bad and I was baptized when I was a teenager. Finally, through a series of health events Dad was shaken to his core. He understood he was a lost sinner with no hope and on his way to hell and could do nothing about it on his own. He needed his sins forgiven and that debt paid in full. Dad swallowed his pride and called out to Jesus to save him. He put his total trust in the fact that Jesus died on the cross, was buried in the grave, and rose from the dead the third day according to the scriptures. At 74 years old Dad was born again. I am so glad he has no more sickness or pain or sorrow. I do miss him but know for sure we will see each other again on the other side over in the glory land!!!

The church construction projects we are involved in are all continuing to move forward. Victory Baptist Perry, FL is waiting for their steel building package to be delivered and installed. After that we will take small teams to do the windows and doors and interior framing. Vision Baptist Crestview, FL is making good progress and should be hanging drywall this coming week if all goes well. They are hoping to be all done and in the building by the end of this year. Victory Springs Ind Baptist in High Springs, FL has been approved for the construction loan and should get back going this week with plumbing rough in and some other misc. interior work. We will only have 1 year to be all done so coordinating and scheduling subs and volunteers will be critical. We made some more progress on our warehouse too. The trusses were set and roof framing all done and one side of the metal roof installed. We need to raise more funds to pour the concrete floor and do the exterior wall framing and metal siding.

In way of training we were able to teach one CPR/first aid/AED class at our church to re-certify several of the members that had expired. We traveled to Okeechobee, FL to teach an AVERT class to Victory Baptist Church. This is an active violence emergency response training course through the Health and Safety Institute. Through our training center we are an authorized and certified instructor. We taught another AVERT class at Victory Springs Ind Baptist in High Springs, FL.

Sonya and I were down flat for a few days with a Covid like sickness again. As we understand it is making its rounds again and was our turn. We are mostly recovered and gaining strength a little more each day. So far the kids have no symptoms and we pray they don’t. We appreciate all the love and support and partnerships and prayers. We can go and do because you pray and give. For all of that we are grateful.

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
Training Center International

Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr., Fort White, Fl 32038
Email: Mccoysincostarica@yahoo.com
Kevin 850 777-0097
Sonya 850 698-1694

Type your new text here.

God is good, and we have had a full month here. In many ways, August was a time to catch our breath after a very full spring and summer. We were able to focus more on family and regular ministry activities. That being said, time still seemed to fly by and here we are entering the fall season.

This Thursday, we will be fly back to Florida for the purpose of helping Mykenzie transition back to the States. She has decided to take a gap year to work and attend our sending church while she seeks the Lord’s will about college. While this is a big transition for her and us it is also something that we have been praying and preparing for, and so has some excitement in it as well. We are thrilled about the opportunities in front of her and at the same time desiring to trust the Lord with our “baby girl” (not so “baby” anymore) as she steps out on her own. We know that with God’s guidance, she is in good hands. Please pray with us that the Lord would not only guide her to a good job, but that he would also give her clarity as she looks to the future.

After we get back from the States, Cori and the kid’s will be pushing full speed on homeschooling and I will be focusing on preparations for the first of 2 fall surgical teams. Please be praying for the Lord to bless all of the preparation and that He would use those weeks to reach people with the Gospel. For the first Surgical team we already have an orthopedic surgeon, as well as a full team of support staff and anesthesiologists, however the second surgeon (for pediatric general surgeries) who was scheduled to serve with us, suddenly passed away several weeks ago. We are greatly saddened and yet rejoice that Dr. Thomas Sims is now with this Savior. Please pray for his wife and children as they walk this road of grief. Pray for comfort and the evident hand of God guiding them through this valley. Please pray also that the Lord would lead us to another surgeon who would be available to serve with us on short notice.

Thank you again for your faithful partnership both prayerfully and financially. We are blessed and encouraged by so many of you who reach out to tell us of your love and prayers. May God continue to richly bless you all.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for God’s guidance on Mykenzie as she makes independent steps as an adult. I am writing to formally address and refute the accusations made against us by individuals posing as a “concerned citizen”.

On July 18 and July 24, 2025, Subic Bay Children’s Home received a visit from investigating officers of the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO). We were made aware that they would like to conduct investigation on us due to complaints of rape and misuse of funds, in which we readily complied. The investigators were able to handpick six children, out of our 55 children; and freely interview these children. The investigators further did a thorough interview of our staff; and were given access to look through our files and records.
I was able to obtain the contents of the email sent to the Office of the Vice President (OVP) by the supposedly “concerned citizen”. At the bottom of the email was simply a phone number given for the OVP to reach if more info was needed. With that number, I personally did some sleuthing on the internet and was able to trace the cell phone number to a Viber account.

On August 14, 2025, officials from the main office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) showed up unexpectedly. That had received the same report of accusations against SBCHome. Knowing that we have nothing to hide I voluntarily signed the consent form allowing them to go through all of our files as well as interview the children about their life at SBCHome. They came back again the next day, on August 15 and interviewed all of our staff and went to all of our facilities.

August 22, we learned that 96 police officers and SWAT were to accompany the DSWD to pullout all the children from DSWD the very next day at 10am. Within the next few hours all of our children and houseparent's had packed their weekend bags and were on their way for a “Weekend getaway”. Our Social Workers and Admin staff worked tirelessly looking for safe places for the children to be placed but in a legal way where we would not get more charges added. Several of our children who have relatives, we had reached out to them in the past and several of them attend church and bible studies. Family members were called and came and we were able to integrate 22 Children to family. Those family members had also previously passed a “Parental Capability Assessment Report” One of our girls had just turned 18 so we were able to have her sign herself out on independent living (She is still with us). The next day at around 9:30 two police officers were seen on our CCTV’s ringing our doorbell but by that time we were all away and no one was left at the home, and the operation was aborted. The following day (Sunday), two Police officers showed up at church looking for Pastor Rodrigo “Odek” Valbuena. Knowing that they would come to arrest Odek and Hannah (Odek being the Director and Hannah the OIC and Corporate Secretary) we were by that time already at the airport about to board the plane. Once we arrived in LA, we learned that the raid was rescheduled on Tuesday (08/26) at 8am. When we finally got into Houston at 5am, we set a zoom meeting with our staff and church family in the Philippines. We planned to have a prayer vigil at the church starting at 6am up until the afternoon. We aired it live and it was a beautiful service. Current children and former children testified of the goodness of God showered on them through the SBCHome. Several preachers gave very encouraging messages. Beautiful songs and hymns were sang and much prayers. Pastor Odek was able to reach out to several media people and our Local Government Officials who came and supported the children. Praise God because it must have spooked off the DSWD and they never showed up.

Please do pray for SBCHome because the operation in now scheduled for 10am this Thursday (Philippine time). We are talking to several lawyers but please do pray for God to lead us to the right one. We have further learned that not only is it Pastor Odek and Hannah that they will arrest but me (Annalisa) as well. Pray that our lawyer will be able to clear us SOON and we may return to the PHILIPPINES. Please pray for the 22 children who are with family and that they will be a light to their families and please pray for the other 33 children who’s future is uncertain at this point.

The accusation of malicious intent is not only unfounded but also deeply distressing. It undermines our integrity and casts doubt on our character and ministry without substantiated evidence. It has deeply wounded the children and add more trauma to all that they have already experienced.

We have cooperated fully with any investigation and provided documentation or testimony to support the legitimacy of our character and Institution the Lord entrusted to us.

Sbchome Family

Send your check to
Subic Bay Children's Home
C/O Central Missionary Clearinghouse
PO BOX 219228
Houston TX 77218

or

PayPal Link below:

PayPal

[3147459419] [kids@sbchome.org] [www.sbchome.org]

Follow Us

It’s been a difficult time, but God has been faithful. Jericho was in the hospital for 11 days. It was hard seeing him go through so much, but we’re so grateful to say he’s finally home, fully recovered, and continuing with his maintenance care. Chris Albert has been healing well. The swelling on his face has gone down, and today his stitches are being removed. Althea gave us a real scare when she began vomiting blood and had to be rushed to the hospital. Thankfully, she’s now back home with us and on medication. She’ll need to return for another check-up this coming Saturday, and we’re praying for good news.

We’re sharing these updates not just to let you know what’s happening, but also because we know we can count on your prayers. These children mean the world to us, and every challenge they face weighs heavily on our hearts.

There’s also something bigger going on that we feel is important to share. The Philippines is in the midst of what can only be described as spiritual warfare. More missionaries are being sent out from our nation than ever before—a beautiful sign of God’s movement. But with that, we’ve also seen the enemy push back. Victories for Jesus never go uncontested.
One situation that has deeply shaken us involves a fellow missionary, Pastor Ferguson, who had been faithfully caring for 150 children at a children’s home in Pampanga. Pastor Ferguson has dedicated his life to serving the most vulnerable, offering love, protection, and the hope of Christ to children who had nowhere else to go. He created a home for them—more than just shelter, it was a place where they felt safe, seen, and valued. But now, in a devastating turn of events, he has been imprisoned. As far as we understand, he was taken without proper due process. There has been little to no transparency surrounding the charges or the reasons for his detainment. It’s heartbreaking, not only because of the injustice he may be facing, but also because 150 children have now been left without the shepherd who was guiding them. We can only imagine the confusion and fear they must be feeling.

This situation speaks to something deeper happening in our nation. It seems that the very people trying to bring healing, love, and light into dark places are being met with resistance. It’s hard not to feel the weight of spiritual warfare in moments like these. And yet, we know that God is still sovereign. He sees everything, even what is done in secret. He is a God of justice, and He defends the oppressed. We are praying fervently for Pastor Ferguson—for his protection, for strength in his spirit, and for peace in the middle of this trial. We are also praying for the children he served, that they would continue to feel the presence of God even in the absence of the one who had been their earthly caretaker. Most of all, we are praying for truth to come to light, and for justice to prevail—not just in this one case, but for all who serve quietly and faithfully in the Kingdom, often unseen and unprotected.

We humbly ask you to join us in interceding for him. This is a time for the body of Christ to come together, to stand in the gap for one another, and to remember that even in the valley, we are not alone. God is with us—and He is with Pastor Ferguson, too.

Just this past Thursday and Friday, our home was also interrogated by representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). It was a difficult experience. We are cooperating fully, but it is incredibly disheartening to face obstacles from the very institutions that are supposed to support children’s welfare. We know we are called to this work, and we will not give up. Still, we ask for your prayers—for protection, for wisdom, and for truth to come to light.

Despite the trials, we are holding on to hope. God has never failed us. He sees these children. He knows their stories, their pain, and their potential. And we believe He is still working through all of this.

Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers, your support, and your love mean more than we can say. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

With grateful hearts,
Your Subic Bay Children’s Home Family

We believe the scriptures teach a “whosoever” gospel and we work toward that end. We get to tell others about the love of God and His free gift of salvation. We get to share how that Christ died for our sins, and was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures. We get to serve God and others in a full-time vocational capacity. We love what we do and the little part we get to play in God’s kingdom work in a variety of areas in our Jerusalem and some other zip codes and time zones.

It’s been so rewarding watching our kids plug in to ministry. Bethany finished up her internship at Venture of Faith camp in Georgia a couple of weeks ago. She did well there, serving as a utility person filling in wherever needed and learning to work on a team and be a self-starter. As we understand it 120 young people trusted Christ as Savior through the camp efforts and we are so thankful Bethany chose to go and serve and take part in that.
Jon has been working on putting together his first sermon to preach in the near future. After surrendering to missions, we have had many conversations of studying and preparing for the work while he is still young and has plenty of time. He has been helping me a lot with some of the projects we are working on and has been with me a few times doing outreach and discipleship. I pray he will catch fire and burn on for the Lord more and more as he grows.

We have been real busy helping with the church construction projects. Grace Bible Baptist received permission from the county officials to install a septic tank and abandon their sewer line. This is huge for them and will get the church back on track and moving forward. Vision Baptist got their interior framing all done and other trades scheduled for their rough ins. Victory Baptist in Perry, FL got their concrete slab poured and the porches. The metal building manufacturing is finalizing the details and will start production right away. We will get everything prepped and ready for the building when it arrives. Victory Springs Independent Baptist has all the paperwork turned in to the bank for the construction loan. The bank says the funds should be released in a month or so and we are contacting all the sub-contractors and putting a rough schedule together. We are praying to be finished in a year or less. We have not made much progress on our warehouse but did get 10 of the 14 posts set.

We traveled to Bible Baptist in Palm Harbor twice this month to re-certify the churches safety team and youth workers in CPR and first aid. We have 2 churches scheduled for active shooter/violence emergency response training in the next few weeks. We are planning our next short-term trip to the Caribbean for some time in September as the churches there get us the details.

Hurricane season is well underway and mostly quiet so far. There have been a few opportunities to coordinate relief efforts in Texas and North Carolina for flooding, but making some phone calls and sending some messages were enough to get supplies and help where needed without deploying.

To God be the Glory for all he is doing, while we are mostly in his way. July has flown by and we have been busy with many wonderful ministry opportunities. To start off the month we helped to host another MMO surgical team. That was a blessed week serving together. We are thrilled to report that as a result of the week, not only were the patients ministered to physically but also 6 people (some patients and others family members) made professions of faith in Jesus! Please continue to pray for physical recovery and spiritual growth as we follow up and continue ministering.

Also in July, we hosted our annual teen conference and each night was very well attended by almost 200 teens from 7 area churches. Not only was the teen conference a success in the good attendance and competition amongst the teens, but also because many made spiritual decisions. Eight made professions of faith in Jesus and many others committed to a greater commitment to their personal discipleship and spiritual growth. It was also a blessing to have a teen group from our sending church in Florida. God is at work in this generation of teens and the visiting group was impacted by their time here, seeing the mission field up close. Please pray with us for this generation of Christians who are very quickly growing into servants and young leaders in their local churches.

Finishing out the month we are getting ready to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Iglesia Bautista El Faro (our church here). It is truly amazing to see all that God is doing and anticipating what He will do in the future of the church. May He be glorified in all things. Thank you again for your faithful prayers for us.

PRAISE & PRAYER

Praise the Lord for the great surgical week and for the 6 people who made professions of faith. Total surrender to his will and plan for my life. He has been merciful and gracious toward you and me above and beyond and the least we can do is serve him in the areas he places and empowers us. That’s reasonable.

We finished our barn house and met the deadline from the VA and mortgage company. We started moving a little at the time and one room at the time. It was our smoothest move yet out of 15 in the last 7 years. That might be part of your service too and is reasonable if you are all in. We are mostly settled and unpacked and were able to move our storage container, too. We are starting to build the disaster relief warehouse and training classrooms as we can while juggling the other opportunities and service areas we have. We believe this is the perfect area to be planted in and are so thankful to the Lord first of all, and our partners for working all things out to make our own place again a reality.

Bethany is interning at Venture of Faith Camp in South GA. She is loving it. We have had a couple opportunities to go be in service with her and hang out with the other interns and staff. They all say she is a blessing to the ministry there and a true servant. Definitely an answer to our prayers for her to have the want to verses the have to. Bethany and Jon went to Oconee Baptist Camp together as teens for the first time. They both had a great time and grew in their walk with the Lord. Jon said for a while, since our Bahamas trip, he felt the Lord dealing with him in the area of missions and he surrendered to the Lord’s will for him at camp that week. Fifty percent of missionaries are 2nd generation and we gave these kids to the Lord at birth to use as he wills. Reasonable service. We did not raise these kids like we have, for them to be trophies on a shelf, pretty to look at and collecting dust. No, we have invested in their lives from day one and pray for them in expectancy that the Lord will use them in his service to be difference makers.

We continue to work with several churches on their building projects. Victory Springs is in the final stages of obtaining a construction loan to be able to finish the project. The church is growing and needs the room ASAP and to bring an end to a 5 plus year process. Vision Baptist had some plumbing issues that had to be redone and is getting those taken care of now. I will travel there in the next day or two to check on the changes and work on a couple other things while there in the area. Victory Baptist, Perry, has had several delays from subcontractors. We have made some changes and are getting progress going again. We will have the foundation formed up in the next couple of days and get the plumber going on his rough in. Still no resolve on the sewer issues at Grace Bible Baptist as of yet. Please pray for all these projects and the pieces and parts that all need coordinating and doing. There is much to do on each project and laborers are few.

Hurricane season is upon us again and it is predicted to be about normal for the last few years meaning lots of activity. Last year we spent 16 weeks doing mostly disaster relief so your prayers would be appreciated on this as well. All the different things we get to be a part of are because of your partnerships with us and faithfulness in praying and giving. We are truly grateful and love you all!

In Christ,
Kevin, Sonya, Bethany, and Jon McCoy
Training Center International

Home Address: 240 SW Iowa Dr.
                           Fort White, FL 32038

June was a busy month and July is shaping up to be just as full. However, we thank the Lord for what He is doing in and through the busyness of ministry. We are currently in the midst of hosting another MMO surgical team and over the last several months with visiting groups we have had many questions about how MMO’s Rearick Surgical Center operates. Due to all of those questions I wanted to take this prayer update and highlight this amazing ministry and the strategic partnership that we share with Medical Missions Outreach. I also know that while you all pray faithfully for this ministry it is maybe hard to visualize what you are praying for. So if you would like to actually take a virtual tour of the RSC you can go to this link https://medical-outreach.com/trips/join-a-team/rearick-surgical-center.

To begin with, people ask where we find our patients. While some come through word of mouth, the vast majority are patients from the public hospital’s waiting list. In this way, we are able to provide free surgeries to those who cannot afford a surgery in one of the private hospitals. Many of our patients are from very humble means and many times simple surgeries are unattainable without charitable help. People also ask how much it costs to provide these surgeries. Per surgery would be hard to calculate but last year we were able to help over 100 patients and MMO’s in-country expenses were around $50,000. But because of the sacrificial giving of many people, we are able to provide these surgeries at absolutely no cost to the patients. That sacrificial giving begins with the surgeon and medical team who give of their time and abilities, but who also give financially to help cover the expenses of their trip. There are also churches and individuals who support Medical Missions Outreach on a monthly basis. MMO is a very worthy ministry for continuous support, and on their site they have links if the Lord would lead you to partner on a regular basis. I know that I have shared this before, but our ultimate aim through medicine is to share Christ with every patient. MMO’s slogan is “Pointing Others to the Great Physician,” and the door of medicine makes for hearts that are sensitive to hear and respond to the Gospel. Please concentrate your prayers this week on the surgical team and support volunteers as we minister for the Lord to these patients and their families. Thank you again for your faithful prayers for us.

PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray for God’s blessing on the the surgical team serving with us this week.

Also pray for the patients we will serve, that they would respond to the gospel of salvation in Jesus.

Thank you for continuing to pray for the Lord’s blessing as we grow in our understanding of Type 1 Diabetes.

Love in Christ,
Nate and Cori with Mykenzie, Grant, Blake and Savanna
