Dear Friends,
God is always right and always good! I pray that each and every one reading this is well and basking in the goodness of God. Though there are rough patches along the way, I wholeheartedly agree with the songwriter's words, “In Christ Alone my HOPE is found!”
We, (Odek & Annalisa) celebrated our 28th anniversary this past June 7th.We have also seen the birth of our 7th grandchild. We give all praise and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ for all the MERCY and GRACE!
Samuel is currently in Houston, TX for his summer break. His brother, our second child (Rod), has a food truck business in Houston where Sam is working. Elizabeth (our youngest) is missing her big bro even though Sam’s love language is picking on her.
Subic Bay Children's Home
Our Subic Bay Children’s Home ministry welcomed 4 new siblings into the family. The siblings attend our mission church in the mountain of Cawag, Subic. The eldest of the siblings came to Annalisa and disclosed that she was being abused by her step father since she was 11 years old and prior to that her mother had given her to a 55 year old man in return for financial aid. Please be in prayer for these dear children and the process of court hearings they will soon have to face. Please do remember in prayer our daughter and son in law (Hannah & Ruel) as they manage all day-to-day affairs of the SBCHome.
Subic Bay Baptist Mission (San Marcelino) 4th Building Project 90% Complete
Praise the Lord for the 4th mission church that we have been able to complete! I am truly amazed as the Lord is miraculously using a church in the US to financially sustain the building of our mission outreach churches!
Project Dorcas
PROJECT DORCAS ministry was able to give out food packs to three of our mission churches. One hundred fifty families received a bag of rice, hotdogs, coffee and cream. Our mission churches are located in the mountains amongst the poorest.
Through God’s provision we were also able to give 200 toiletry kits out to the inmates after we held a joint evangelistic meeting for the male and female detainees. During this particular meeting six Muslim women came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior!
As we share the gospel with them and feed them spiritually, project Dorcas aims to be a blessing by giving towards their physical needs, as the Lord provides.
Our Government Officials
For our government officials we were able to hold an evangelistic meeting where we had Dr. Cirone of Pensacola Christian College deliver a powerful presentation of the gospel. There were several professions of faith of Police officials, barangay officers, and the Philippine Army.
Ladies Conference 2024
This year we were blessed to have Mrs. Cirone as the speaker of our Women’s Fellowship.
AMAGOH (A Man After God's Own Heart) AMAGOH x GOODNEWS Hoops
Our Sports ministry being lead by our son Timothy partnered with Bro. Brent Gellos’ Goodnews Hoops Ministry. A lot of young people heard the Gospel and had professed thru the basketball clinics and tournament!
In closing, as always we thank you so very much for your faithfulness, for your love, prayers, and support! May God bless you and your family!
