Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

In these last few weeks, we have appreciated the love that the church (God's children) has shown to total strangers and of all walks of life. Natural disasters do not pick and choose those affected but the righteous and the wicked get their share of destruction and difficulties. We've seen the church in action and many have gotten help in their time of need. Loving our neighbor and doing what we can with what we have is always right. Shoe might be on the other foot next time.

We started out by traveling to Milton, FL and picking up a rented fuel trailer to set up at a local church in the impact zone of hurricane Helene. Over several days volunteers were able to give out free gas for generators and chain saws and share the gospel. Several trusted Christ as Savior through those efforts. We met a professional you tuber at the Cross City, FL airport and picked up him and his son and some supplies and delivered them to Horseshoe Beach, FL. While there "Jimmy" made a video of the destruction and the needs of the community and the supplies started flowing in. We met a group of ten airplanes at the Perry, FL airport and filled our truck and trailer with another load of supplies for Horseshoe Beach. We set up three locations for supply distribution and continue to transport to two of them ongoing. The news cycle has long forgotten about these communities in need but we have not. It will take months for some to recover and get back to some sense of normal. We have had truckload after truckload of supplies come in to our church from our Brother Larry Ward in Milton, FL and others as far away as Wisconsin. We receive the supplies and store them in our unfinished church building. We then sort through everything and divide it into truck and trailer loads and use volunteers to load and transport the supplies to those in need. We have been able to help in many areas of service in seven different towns in Florida and Georgia all an hour or so from our house. It's all ministering to people's needs, cleaning up, demolition, cutting trees, hauling supplies. It doesn't matter what the work is, it all pays the same, ha-ha. More have been saved through these efforts than we have seen in a while and we give God all the praise!!!

Kevin did get to preach the pm service at our church and close out missions' month and teach Sunday school too. Missions giving from a missionary perspective and not being ashamed of the gospel were the topics.

The building project at Victory Springs Independent Baptist is at a standstill waiting on funds to come in for roofing on the drive through entrance. The church applied for a grant from the Lasko Foundation and should hear back soon if the church qualifies. Pray with us that this comes to pass so the church can finish out this project that is in its fifth year, BUT, also debt free.

Vision Baptist is in the final stages of design and should have permit drawings in the next couple of weeks. Grace Bible Baptist needs more funds to move forward and has an issue with their sewer line. We have contacted many at the utility company and adjoining property owners with no resolve so far. Pray for a speedy solution. We met with Victory Baptist of Perry, FL and an architect to begin their process of replacing the parsonage that burned a few months ago. Hopefully, a few small details can be dealt with quickly and get them moving forward. We finally got our own building permit for our little barn house. We are working with sub-contractors preparing for the concrete foundation and hope to have the first part poured the end of next week.

Thank you each and every one for the part you play in all that is going on. We know the times at hand are difficult for all and do not take it lightly, or for granted, how fortunate we are to have you on our side. May the Lord give you a return on your investment for his honor and glory.

In Christ,
