Romans 12:1
The best illustration I can think of for this passage is: I sign a blank sheet of paper and lay it down on the altar and let God fill in the content as he sees fit. Total surrender to his will and plan for my life. He has been merciful and gracious toward you and me above and beyond and the least we can do is serve him in the areas he places and empowers us. That’s reasonable.
We finished our barn house and met the deadline from the VA and mortgage company. We started moving a little at the time and one room at the time. It was our smoothest move yet out of 15 in the last 7 years. That might be part of your service too and is reasonable if you are all in. We are mostly settled and unpacked and were able to move our storage container, too. We are starting to build the disaster relief warehouse and training classrooms as we can while juggling the other opportunities and service areas we have. We believe this is the perfect area to be planted in and are so thankful to the Lord first of all, and our partners for working all things out to make our own place again a reality.
Bethany is interning at Venture of Faith Camp in South GA. She is loving it. We have had a couple opportunities to go be in service with her and hang out with the other interns and staff. They all say she is a blessing to the ministry there and a true servant. Definitely an answer to our prayers for her to have the want to verses the have to. Bethany and Jon went to Oconee Baptist Camp together as teens for the first time. They both had a great time and grew in their walk with the Lord. Jon said for a while, since our Bahamas trip, he felt the Lord dealing with him in the area of missions and he surrendered to the Lord’s will for him at camp that week. Fifty percent of missionaries are 2nd generation and we gave these kids to the Lord at birth to use as he wills. Reasonable service. We did not raise these kids like we have, for them to be trophies on a shelf, pretty to look at and collecting dust. No, we have invested in their lives from day one and pray for them in expectancy that the Lord will use them in his service to be difference makers.
We continue to work with several churches on their building projects. Victory Springs is in the final stages of obtaining a construction loan to be able to finish the project. The church is growing and needs the room ASAP and to bring an end to a 5 plus year process. Vision Baptist had some plumbing issues that had to be redone and is getting those taken care of now. I will travel there in the next day or two to check on the changes and work on a couple other things while there in the area. Victory Baptist, Perry, has had several delays from subcontractors. We have made some changes and are getting progress going again. We will have the foundation formed up in the next couple of days and get the plumber going on his rough in. Still no resolve on the sewer issues at Grace Bible Baptist as of yet. Please pray for all these projects and the pieces and parts that all need coordinating and doing. There is much to do on each project and laborers are few.
Hurricane season is upon us again and it is predicted to be about normal for the last few years meaning lots of activity. Last year we spent 16 weeks doing mostly disaster relief so your prayers would be appreciated on this as well. All the different things we get to be a part of are because of your partnerships with us and faithfulness in praying and giving. We are truly grateful and love you all!

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
