Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

In our house the ministry is an all-hands effort. We tell our kids all the time, “Your picture is on the prayer card, too, because it’s all the McCoys in this thing.” Nobody is warming the bench. As our kids grow in the Lord and mature in their own faith it's exciting to see the different areas of service they both have jumped into: Door to door visitation and soul winning, singing in the choir, working in nursery and children's church, helping our senior saints with things around the house, and working with some of the younger kids, just to name a few. Most of these are volunteer efforts on their parts, and not voluntold, ha-ha.

We are still involved with several churches ongoing with their building projects. Victory Springs Independent Baptist was denied the grant that was applied for just a few days ago. God has a different plan and as we wait for him to reveal it we met with a few more sub-contractors and scheduled the next phases that we have funds on hand for. This has been like the widow in the Bible where the oil just never runs out, so we continue to work.

Vision Baptist in Crestview, FL has had their groundbreaking and has begun construction, and the dirt work for the foundation is done. The concrete crew is scheduled to set the forms for the foundation and the plumber is on standby to do the in slab rough work. They should have a foundation pretty quick and then get the prefab steel building erected soon after.

Victory Baptist in Perry, FL is still in the permit process with a lot of paperwork passing back and forth between us and them and the local officials in the building department. There are a few more things to do with that and we need a little more help from the architect, then turn it all in and wait for a phone call to go pick up their permit.

We have made a little more progress on our barn type metal house. The interior framing is all done and the electric and ductwork are all in and we wait on the plumber to do the rough water and drain piping. We are behind schedule and only have less than 90 days to be all done with the certificate of occupancy in hand. It will be great to have our own place again for the first time since 2018. We will call the place Living Water Farms from John chapter 4:10-11, and plan to have a small building on the property for training and disaster relief, too.

We had a couple of unique ministry opportunities this month. First, Kevin went to prison with Inside the Lines Ministries and got to fellowship with the inmates during a basketball tournament. After the tournament there was a time of preaching on the "Substitute" and then an invitation was given and 17 men called on Jesus for salvation. All men were given Bibles and discipleship materials to help them in their new lives. Second, Kevin also got to help out at Venture Of Faith Camp in GA at their men's retreat for a couple of days. There was a pistol competition and skeet shoot needing some range safety officers and mingling with the men while they wait their turns. At the preaching times at least 4 men called on Jesus for salvation. Some plant and some water and some provide safety, but God gives the increase. We are just soul warners, Jesus does the winning!!!

Our next Bahamas trip is coming quick. The details are all worked out and the itinerary is set.

After much prayer and thought we decided to take our 11 year old son, Jon, this trip. Lately he has shown a real interest in missions and we believe this trip could be a huge help in him deciding what the Lord would have him do with his life. He will be helping the team evangelize, teach classes, and work at the men's outreach events – grown up stuff on the foreign field. He had to raise his own funds and worked for some, prayed for some, and asked churches for some. God provided all that he needed and it is such an encouragement to see his excitement as his God worked on his behalf to make his first big-boy mission trip possible. Our prayer is that he catches fire on this trip and goes all in for the Lord.

Thank you each and every one for the prayers and partnerships and giving of funds to help us reach some and teach some as the gospel continues to go forth and God gets the glory!!!
